IVAO XU's Special Operations Department would like to invite you to Operation Blackdog II. The operation will allow you to use and develop the essential skills of QRA, which include interception, identification, and air-to-air refuelling.

Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) is a state of readiness that many air forces worldwide maintain, allowing them to respond to any possible air threat within their area of responsibility. But the current safety levels of modern aviation means that QRA pilots are commonly scrambling to unresponsive aircraft or aircraft in distress. The UK currently operates 2 QRA bases, RAF Coningsby to the south and RAF Lossiemouth to the north.

Join us in celebrating the festive season by illuminating the Edinburgh Christmas market with lights from Eindhoven in the Yuletide Skies: Airbridge. After landing in Edinburgh you can stroll around the Christmas market and its beautiful castle. Then close out the evening with a cosy chair and a whiskey in your hands. While in “The City of Light” Eindhoven you are welcomed with the traditional Dutch “Gezelligheid” as you warm up with hot chocolate and a stroopwafel.
